Interviews in New York

Posted on March 23, 2013 in News

Hello, folks!  We’re in the NYC area this week conducting 5 or (hopefully) 6 new interviews for the documentary.  Fortunately, the stars more or less lined up and we’ve managed to schedule with just about everyone in the area who we’ve been wanting to speak to for some time.

Discussions continue behind the scenes for post-production, and in the next month or so, we hope to have an editor committed to the project.

Check back next week to see how the New York trip turned out!

Mid-Month Update on The Green Girl

Posted on March 15, 2013 in News

Hi Everyone.  We’ve been working behind the scenes to line up a number of interviews, and our trip to NYC (where we hope to complete 5 interviews in 7 days) is just six days away!  We’re starting to talk to some of the contacts we made during the Kickstarter funding campaign about legal representation and post-production, and things are looking very promising there.

In case you missed it, our friends at the Random Nerdness Podcast (check them out here) had Green Girl director George Pappy on for an interview about the documentary back in November.  You can catch it here:

More to come next week…

New Article on The Green Girl

Posted on March 8, 2013 in News

Hi everyone!  It’s been a week of “recovery” from the nearly round-the-clock efforts to hit our fundraising goal (which we did, thanks to many of you!).

We’ve had some nice reach-outs from people in the post-production arena who want to help see The Green Girl through completion.  Director George Pappy will be working all of this out in the next month or two while also turning his attention back to the documentary interviews.  At the moment, there are at least 4 or 5 on the tentative schedule in Southern California, with an additional 5 or so scheduled for the last week of this month in New York.

We continue to get nice press coverage.  Here’s a little blurb that came out this week on TG Daily:

It’s an exciting time for The Green Girl as we push through completion of the production phase over the next 2-3 months.  Please check back here for updates (at least once a week).
