The Green Girl Documentary (Susan Oliver) – IndieGoGo Campaign Update

Posted on October 29, 2013 in News

Vina-NailsHi Everybody.

We have had the good fortune to raise nearly half of our targeted goal in the first two weeks of the fundraising campaign.  We still have a little over 30 days left to raise the rest (and, with a little, luck maybe even a bit more).

Our composer is hard at work on the score, our legal team is scrubbing the final cut to make sure we are in good shape with all of the clips and photos, and I’ve been lining up color correction and a dialogue editor.

We were also approached by a major film festival a few weeks ago and strongly encouraged to apply, so that opens the book on a whole new area of effort.  We do intend to get The Green Girl out to a number of festivals next year, and applying to those will now become a regular part of the weekly workload.

The generous donations of Susan Oliver fans like you have taken us very far down this amazing path of discovery, and we’re almost to the end of the road.

If you haven’t donated yet, we’d sure appreciate your help here in the home stretch.  Even as little as $10 makes a big difference!  You can check out the IndieGoGo campaign page here:

I can’t wait for all of you to be able to see and learn much more about Susan Oliver and her remarkable (though sadly short) journey through life!

–George Pappy (Writer/Director, THE GREEN GIRL)
