Sorry for the delay in updates, folks. I’m working 8 days a week right now, wearing at least 5 different hats (assistant editor, director, producer, archival researcher, etc.). We’re in our final day of a FULL WEEK sifting through what we have of Susan’s various performances, trying to find the best clips to use in the documentary. (It would’ve taken even longer if not for the fact that we just couldn’t get our hands on some of her work.)
Thanks to the generosity of some very dedicated Susan Oliver fans, we’ve also come across some great photos and newspaper/magazine clippings which will really add to the finished film. Our biggest challenge now is efficiently sifting through all of this material, figuring out what to keep, and most importantly, finding the right places for all of it!
To complicate matters a bit more, I’ve still been shooting a few last interviews over the past several weeks, traveling all over the country to do so. Check our IMDB page to keep up with the ever-evolving list of interviewees: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2342700/
As always, we continue to be on a tight budget, and any help is always appreciated! (See the PayPal link to the right.)
And now, here’s today’s image, Susan on the set of her very impressive 1961 episode of Boris Karloff’s Thriller:
