Sorry it’s taken me a week to post again, but as usual, events surrounding The Green Girl movie continue to move much faster than I do! We had an exhausting but fantastic 5 days at Star Trek Las Vegas 2014, and we even brought our own Green Girl to honor the iconic character Susan more or less invented (see photo below). Many enthusiastic fans bought The Green Girl DVD and a dedicated group got to see a live screening of the film on July 31. (There were not many dry eyes in the house by the end of the movie, which I always take as a good sign.) People continue to be blown away by the story of this truly fascinating (and sadly overlooked) woman.
We continue to sell the DVD (and Green Girl T-Shirts) both via our webstore and, as of yesterday, on eBay as well (since so many of Susan’s most dedicated fans continue to use the site to buy and sell photos and other memorabilia related to her even today, almost 25 years after her untimely death).
We have one final screening taking place in the greater Los Angeles area this coming Wednesday, August 13 in El Segundo (just south of Los Angeles International Airport). It’s being held in a huge old historic theatre and there are still plenty of seats left if you or someone you know would like to come.
You can get tickets to the final Los Angeles screening (Aug. 13 @ 7:3opm) here: http://gathr.us/screening/8449
Thank you for your continued interest in and support of the project!
